Sparkman Wharf will host its 5th annual Haunted Wharf
Sparkman Wharf, is thrilled to announce its spooktacular 5th annual Haunted Wharf event! This spine-tingling celebration is set to transform Sparkman Wharf into a haunted pirate shipwreck, promising silly spooks for the kids and hair-raising fun for the adults.
Get ready for a ghoulishly good time as we bring Halloween to life in the district. Haunted Wharf is a FREE community event suitable for all ages, offering two nights of immersive entertainment, photo opportunities, and a delectable array of festive food and drinks.
The eerie festivities kick off on Friday, October 27, with a Halloween-themed performance by the renowned DJ Matt Dodge. On Saturday, DJ Ali V will take the stage, serenading families with spooky, family-friendly hits. These thrilling performances start at 5:30 p.m., so parents can enjoy a scary-good cocktail while their little ones take over the dance floor.
But the fun doesn’t stop there! Sparkman Wharf promises an array of Halloween-themed photo opportunities, including a Siren swing, jail cell, drop-down scare window, and a uniquely decorated TAMPA sign. All these entertaining activities are absolutely complimentary. Dive into the transformation with face painting and immortalize the moment with a whimsical caricature.
The Halloween merriment extends beyond the weekend. On Monday, October 23, Sparkman Wharf will host the annual Howl-O-Ween Dog Costume Contest. Registration begins at 6:00 p.m. at The Modern Paws at Sparkman Wharf, with the contest starting at 7:00 p.m. at the stage area. Dog lovers can compete in three exciting categories: viewer’s choice, best duo, and best costume.
And the treats keep coming! On Tuesday, October 31, starting at 6:30 p.m., Sparkman Wharf invites you to a spine-tingling Movie on the Lawn featuring the classic Ghostbusters. The first 50 early arrivals will receive a complimentary treat from the renowned Hampton Chocolate Factory.
All of these spectacular events are FREE and open to the public. Please note that outside food and beverages are not permitted.
