Enchant Christmas is returning to St. Petersburg for its fourth year, transforming Tropicana Field into a festive wonderland with over a million lights, ice skating, and a holiday shopping village.
The immersive Christmas light maze kicks off the day after Thanksgiving, on Nov. 24, and continues daily through Dec. 31.
This year’s enchanting theme is “Reindeer Games,” featuring a scavenger hunt within the light maze to recover magic bells taken by mischievous forest animals. These creatures aspire to fly Santa’s sleigh instead of their reindeer counterparts.
The maze reintroduces massive reindeer light displays from the 2019 event, including the iconic 100-foot “Everwhite” Christmas tree centerpiece. A noteworthy addition is the 450,000-square-foot blackout curtain that transforms Tropicana Field into a winter wonderland, complete with a twinkling North Pole sky.
New attractions include RGB lights displaying patterns and figures moving across the field, interactive light sculptures, and a starry night chandelier effect over the maze, ensuring captivating views throughout Tropicana Field.
Enchant has become an annual holiday highlight for Tropicana Field and a sought-after experience for St. Petersburg. Last year, Mayor Ken Welch declared the opening day, Nov. 25, 2022, as “Bright Friday” to acknowledge the event’s celebration of the holiday season and support for local businesses.
In addition to economic benefits, utilizing Tropicana Field during the Rays’ off-season enhances the city’s aesthetics. Despite plans for a new ballpark, locals hope there will still be space for the “World’s Largest Christmas Light Maze” and its signature light bulb cocktails.
Enchant tickets start at $34 for adults, with various add-ons and upgrades available. To manage crowds effectively, attendees select a specific time slot when purchasing tickets. Enchant opens as early as noon on select weekends and at 5:30 p.m. during the week. Night owl tickets are also available, allowing entry as late as 9:30 p.m.
Add-ons and upgrades include ice skating ($15), a buffet dinner ($55), and VIP access ($25 per adult) with express entry, VIP lounge access, a beverage, and a souvenir gift. Purchasing a parking pass ($15 and up) in advance is highly recommended
