BEACON: Tampa’s Tallest Rooftop Bar Set to Open on Water Street Next Month

An upcoming cocktail lounge and nighttime destination is poised to attract both residents and visitors to Water Street.

According to a press release, @beacontampa , the newest rooftop bar at JW Marriott Tampa Water Street, is not only the “tallest public rooftop bar in Tampa” but also the second tallest in all of Florida. Its grand opening is anticipated in September at 510 Water St., with the exact date still to be announced.

At Beacon, visitors will savor a thoughtfully curated selection, showcasing seasonal flavors and local ingredients.

Masterfully crafted by Sous Chef Roy Bryant and an award-winning mixology team, Beacon’s culinary delights and artisanal libations are destined to match the grandeur of the panoramic views. Featured signature cocktails encompass the Zalamero, a blend of Don Fulano Reposado Tequila and Galliano Espresso liqueur, and The Rising Sun, melding sesame and yuzu with roku Japanese gin and pineapple.

A diverse culinary range awaits, from house-baked tartines crowned with crème fraiche, caviar, and smoked salmon, to the live preparation of artisanal charcuterie at the exposition kitchen along the bar’s north side.
