On Sunday, September 21, the Buccaneers will take on the New York Jets at Raymond James Stadium in a 1 p.m. ET kickoff. The game is more than just a matchup—it’s a tribute to five decades of football greatness. The first 25,000 fans entering the gates will receive a John McKay bucket hat, honoring the team’s first head coach and a true icon. Return of the ’76 Jersey
For the first time since its reimagining, the team will take the field in their 1976 throwback jersey. Featuring the iconic orange numbers, red outlines, and the Creamsicle 50th season patch, this uniform connects the past to the present. Creamsicle-era helmets, white pants, and striped socks will complete the historic look, making it a fan favorite moment.
Iconic Legends Take the Field
The celebration wouldn’t be complete without Buccaneers greats. Steve Spurrier, the franchise’s first quarterback, will serve as Captain of the Krewe. Meanwhile, Derrick Brooks, a Pro Football Hall of Famer, will lead the team out of the tunnel. The U.S. Special Operations Command Para-Commandos will perform a parachute demonstration, followed by a flyover of four F-35 jets from the 33rd Fighter Squadron. At Bucs Beach, fans can meet legendary players, join interactive experiences, and celebrate the team’s milestone season. For collectors, Dunkin’ will present the official Home Gameday Poster Series, with limited-edition designs available at select Tampa Bay locations and featured on Buccaneers’ social channels.

This season, Discover Airlines, a Lufthansa subsidiary, strengthens its partnership with the Buccaneers by giving away 50 flights and 50 game tickets. During the opener, one lucky fan will win a roundtrip flight to Germany, presented on the field by Discover Airlines CEO Bernd Bauer.

The Buccaneers continue to make an impact off the field through the Glazer Family Small Business Fund, created after Hurricanes Helene and Milton in 2024.
