Burrito Lovers Rejoice: Barberitos Opens in Tampa This September
Barberitos, the fast-casual eatery celebrated for its fresh, customizable burritos and bowls, is opening its very first Tampa Bay location on September 19. Situated at 7021 E Fletcher Ave in Temple Terrace, this exciting new spot promises to bring bold southwestern flavors to local residents and the University of South Florida community.
Tampa natives and food enthusiasts, siblings Matt and Austin O’Neill, proudly own and operate the new Barberitos. “We’re beyond excited to introduce Tampa to its very first Barberitos,” shared Matt O’Neill. “Our ingredients are fresher, our veggies tastier, and our guac and salsas absolutely delicious-er. We put the ‘er’ in everything we do—because you can’t spell Barberitos without it! Tampa, get ready for a one-of-a-kind experience you won’t find anywhere else.”
Offering free food for a year during grand opening
The grand opening celebration will feature exciting giveaways, including free Barberitos for a year for the first 100 guests, along with exclusive prizes and promotions all weekend long.
Guests will enjoy a fully customizable menu filled with farm-fresh ingredients, hand-smashed guacamole, freshly chopped veggies, pasture-raised beef, hormone-free chicken, and 100% all-natural cheese. Each meal is made-to-order, guaranteeing quality in every bite. With extended hours from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily, Barberitos will become a popular spot for students, professionals, and families seeking a healthy and convenient meal at any time.
Scouting more locations across the region
In addition to dine-in options, Barberitos provides online ordering and delivery through Barberitos.com, Uber Eats, GrubHub, and DoorDash. Guests can download the Barberitos app for exclusive member rewards, special offers, and unique perks. Catering options are also available, offering a fully customizable spread of healthy, delicious food for gatherings of all sizes.
The O’Neill brothers are already scouting new locations in Riverview, Wesley Chapel, and Odessa, with plans to expand Barberitos throughout Florida.
