Dave’s Hot Chicken Heats Up Tampa with Brand New Location
Dave’s Hot Chicken, one of the most popular and viral fried chicken spots in the country, is bringing its signature spicy flavors to Tampa. The restaurant will open its brand new location on Friday, June 16 at 2540 E. Fowler Ave. Dave’s will be open Sunday through Thursday, 11am until 11pm, and Friday and Saturday, from 11am until 12am midnight.
Founded by friends Dave Kopushyan, Arman Oganesyan, and Tommy and Gary Rubenya in 2017, the restaurant started off as a small stand located in an East Hollywood parking lot with just $900. Since then they have grown their business nationwide into 22 states and even abroad. New Famous investors have jumped on board such as, Drake actor Samuel L. Jackson and Boston Red Sox chairman Tom Werner are both stakeholders.
The restaurant has become famous for its super hot Reaper Fried Chicken but also offers milder varieties for those who don’t like it too spicy. Some of their other specialties include top loaded milkshakes (M&M and Oreo are the true standouts) as well as crinkle cut fries and cole slaw side dishes.
