Things To Do
Florida’s Biggest Digital Video Wall, Food Hall, and RIPA Rooftop Now Open at Tampa Bay Lightning Arena
The Tampa Bay Lightning are gearing up for the 2024-25 season with a range of exciting upgrades designed to elevate the fan experience like never before. As you approach the arena, you’ll be welcomed by the stunning new $6.5 million digital video wall, which is now the largest in Florida. This state-of-the-art video wall features cutting-edge LED lights and offers 3D capabilities, ensuring a mesmerizing visual experience that fans can enjoy both before and after the games.
Instagram-Worthy Bolts Logo and Pre-Game Energy Boost
As if the digital wall wasn’t enough, a giant golden Bolts logo has been placed at the entrance of the arena, giving visitors the perfect opportunity to snap those Instagram-worthy photos. An elevated DJ booth will also enhance the pre-game atmosphere, complete with dynamic lighting that adds to the energy before the puck drops. To further amplify the game-day experience, 16-foot kiosks are being installed along Channelside Drive and Water Street, ensuring fans are fully immersed in the Lightning spirit.
New Food Hall at Amalie Arena
Inside the arena, the former Firestick Grill is getting a major makeover. It’s being transformed into a $2.5 million food hall, bringing an exciting twist to your dining experience. With a sushi station, a sleek bar, and other culinary delights, fans can expect a more flexible and casual approach to dining while enjoying the game. This change from a traditional sit-down restaurant offers more dynamic food options, making it easier for fans to grab a bite and return to the action.
“Bolt for Life” Initiative Honors Loyal Fans
In a heartfelt tribute to their most loyal supporters, the Lightning have launched the “Bolt for Life” initiative. For the first time in franchise history, the names of over 6,000 season ticket holders, partners, and suite holders will be permanently engraved into the Lightning logo at center ice. This remarkable gesture not only honors the team’s devoted community but also emphasizes their importance in the ongoing success of the franchise.
Ripa Rooftop Brings Elevated Game-Day Experience
Rendering previews of the new Ripa Rooftop at Amalie Arena showcase another exciting addition for fans. This rooftop space offers fans an innovative way to enjoy the game while soaking in incredible views of the arena. This area is poised to become a fan-favorite spot, further enhancing the already impressive array of game-day experiences.
Innovation Meets Community Spirit
With these incredible new features, the Tampa Bay Lightning are ensuring that every aspect of the game-day experience matches the thrill and excitement on the ice. Fans can look forward to a season that blends innovation, engagement, and a strong sense of community.
Make sure to reserve your tickets and be part of this unforgettable season.
