Salvation Army Launches Free Meal Service in Tampa: Lunch and Dinner Available

The Salvation Army Tampa Area Command’s Emergency Disaster Services (EDS) is stepping up to offer critical assistance to those affected by Hurricane Milton, beginning Friday, October 11. Every day from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., the EDS team will serve lunch, dinner, and hydration, along with distributing emergency supplies. Five Emergency Disaster Mobile Canteens will be stationed throughout the region, delivering essential relief to individuals and families working to recover from the devastating hurricane.

Mobile Canteen Locations and Hours

  • Salvation Army Tampa Corps: 1100 West Sligh Ave, Tampa, FL. 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Riverside Recovery: 4004 N Riverside Dr, Tampa, FL 33603. 1 p.m. – 6 p.m. on Friday; 12 p.m. – 6 p.m. daily thereafter.
  • Plant City Fire Department: 604 E Alexander St, Plant City, FL 33563. 12 p.m. – 6 p.m. (The canteen will also escort supplies through local neighborhoods.)
  • New Life Tabernacle South Tampa: 1002 S Church Ave Suite A, Tampa, FL 33629. 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Victory Tabernacle of Seminole Heights: 1010 E Busch Blvd #102, Tampa, FL 33612. 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.
