As Fire Prevention Week 2024 approaches, Tampa Fire Rescue is ramping up efforts to ensure the safety of every home in the city. Running from October 6-12, this year’s theme, “Smoke Alarms: Make them work for you”, emphasizes the life-saving importance of having functioning smoke alarms installed in every residence.
In a fantastic community initiative, Tampa Fire Rescue, in partnership with the American Red Cross of Central Florida, is offering free smoke alarm installations across various Tampa neighborhoods. This is the perfect opportunity for residents to safeguard their homes and loved ones—completely free of charge!
