A man will be charged after he allegedly had a gun at a TSA checkpoint, which led to the evacuation of Airside F at Tampa International Airport on Friday night, according to officials.
Airport officials said all passengers in Airside F were evacuated so airport police could do a precautionary security sweep. Passengers were re-screened and normal operations resumed at about 9:45 p.m.
About a dozen flights were impacted, but there were no cancellations, according to officials.
