Tampa’s Black Dog Firewood Fire Contained, Confirms HCFR
TAMPA, Fla. – Hillsborough County Fire Rescue responds to a fire incident at Black Dog Firewood, a firewood supplier, on Sunday. 911 callers reported the fire just before 12 p.m.
Firefighters discovered a blaze engulfing a metal structure and substantial timber. HCFR escalated the response to a 2-alarm fire due to the significant fire load.
Thankfully, there have been no reported injuries among civilians or firefighters.
While the scene remains active, firefighters successfully brought the fire under control within an hour. Reported by FOX 13 News.
