On Thursday night, a 25-year-old Tampa woman was driving southbound on Dale Mabry Highway near Idlewild Avenue at approximately 10:25 p.m. when she noticed a dog in distress. With compassion and concern, she stopped her vehicle, stepping onto the roadway in an effort to help the animal.
