Haunted Wharf and an open-air screening of Ghostbusters are on the agenda for an upcoming evening in downtown Tampa
Tampa ranks among the top cities for celebrating Halloween, and this October, Sparkman Wharf, located at 615 Channelside Drive, the popular waterfront destination for shopping and dining, will undergo a spooky transformation into the Haunted Wharf for a two-night extravaganza.
In honor of its 5th annual Halloween celebration, Sparkman Wharf is offering two evenings of free entertainment from 5:30pm to 10pm on October 27th and 28th.
This event is family-friendly and boasts the perfect setting as Sparkman Wharf magically morphs into a haunted pirate shipwreck with delightful frights for the youngsters and spine-tingling thrills for the grown-ups as the night unfolds.
Prior to the Halloween revelry, Sparkman Wharf will host its yearly Pet Costume Contest on October 23rd. Registration begins at 6pm at The Modern Paws, located at 615 Channelside Drive, Unit 115B, and the contest commences at 7pm in the stage area.
One of the most eagerly anticipated events is the outdoor movie night. On Tuesday, October 31st, Sparkman Wharf will screen Ghostbusters, starting at 6:30pm. The first 50 attendees will receive a complimentary treat from Hampton Chocolate Factory.
