Tampa Bay Lightning to Kick Off Season with Spectacular Concert and Watch Party
The Tampa Bay Lightning’s regular season kicks off on October 12, and they’re going big with a huge concert and community event at Ford Thunder Alley. The celebration will feature a Tampa native who has taken the music world by storm—none other than Billboard chart-topping artist, Doechii.
Doechii Headlines Opening Day at Ford Thunder Alley
Tampa’s very own Doechii will take center stage at GAME ONe Opening Day 2024, delivering a special performance on Ford Thunder Alley. This free concert is set to be the highlight of the day-long celebration, which marks the beginning of the Tampa Bay Lightning’s 2024-25 season.
Doechii Takes the Stage at Thunder Alley
The rising star Doechii recently announced her “Alligator Bites Never Heal” tour, following the success of her critically acclaimed mixtape from Top Dawg Entertainment/Capitol Records. The tour kicks off on October 11 in Atlanta, with stops across major cities like New York City and West Hollywood, and includes international shows in Berlin, Paris, London, and Amsterdam.
GAME ONe 2024: A Day Full of Excitement
GAME ONe 2024 will provide fans with an unforgettable experience, featuring live entertainment, giveaways, and plenty of surprises. The event starts at 3 p.m. at Ford Thunder Alley, where you can enjoy food trucks, beverage specials, and 50% off beer, soda, water, and snacks. For families, the Kids Zone on Channelside Drive will offer activities such as face painting, balloon animals, and ball hockey.
Catch the Blue Carpet Walk and Exclusive Watch Party
Fans can also be part of the iconic blue carpet walk, which kicks off at 3:45 p.m., followed by Doechii’s live performance at 4:45 p.m. For those without game tickets, there’s an exclusive watch party on Ford Thunder Alley, followed by a post-game party at 10 p.m., weather permitting.
