Special $10 Admission at St. Petersburg Museum This Week
In celebration of its second anniversary, the Museum of the American Arts and Crafts Movement is offering a special admission rate. From Thursday through Saturday, visitors can enjoy entry for just $10, a significant reduction from the regular $25 adult admission fee. This presents a fantastic opportunity to explore the museum if you haven’t had the chance.
Alongside the museum’s remarkable collection of furniture, ceramics, lighting, and more from the Arts and Crafts movement, which spanned roughly from 1890 to 1930, a captivating exhibition titled “Dignity and Grace: These Humbler Metals” is currently on view.
Furthermore, on Saturday, there will be a captivating conversation with the museum’s architect, Alberto Alfonso of Alfonso Architecture. Attendees can gain insights into how Alfonso envisioned the stunning five-story, 137,000-square-foot museum. This event requires an additional $10 fee and pre-registration.
For those interested in guided tours, public docent-led tours are available at 11 a.m. daily through Saturday, with additional tours at 1 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. These informative 50-minute tours are included with admission and do not necessitate prior registration.
