Tampa's Cuban Sandwich Festival

Tampa is gearing up for a record-breaking culinary event with the World’s Longest Cuban Sandwich event scheduled for July 28 from 11 am to 4 pm at 1 Buccaneer Place. This special foodie event is a collaboration between the International Cuban Sandwich Festival and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Participants will attempt to break the current record of 330 feet, held by Kissimmee. Festival producer Jolie Padilla expressed her excitement, stating, “We will make the Longest Cuban Sandwich in Tampa, and we will break Kissimmee’s record. This year, the Longest Sandwich will be made in West Tampa with the help of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. When it’s done, we will donate it to a homeless shelter, and that sandwich will feed over 700 homeless people.”

General admission to the event is free, but advance registration is required. VIP tickets are also available for those seeking an enhanced experience. In addition to witnessing the record-breaking sandwich, guests can look forward to a day filled with music, dancing, and family fun. The event will also feature winning sandwiches from the International Ford Cuban Sandwich Festivals, promising a delightful culinary experience for all attendees.
