There’s something magical—almost supernatural—about winter in Tampa. Not because of snowflakes or sleigh bells, but because of one explosive event that takes over Raymond James Stadium every December. The Gasparilla Bowl is back. And this year, it’s poised to deliver another spine-tingling chapter in college football’s wildest book of memories.
On Friday, Dec. 19, as the Florida sun dips low and shadows stretch long across Raymond James Stadium, the Union Home Mortgage Gasparilla Bowl will light up Tampa like a fuse on dynamite. Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m. ET, and for those not lucky enough to witness the spectacle in person, it will be broadcast live on ESPN. Two top-tier teams, selected from the mighty SEC, ACC, and AAC conferences, will clash in what promises to be a holiday showdown for the ages.
