Ybor City is gearing up to dazzle with holiday cheer as the 14th annual Ybor City Tree Lighting Ceremony takes place on November 20 at 1600 E. 7th Ave. from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. This beloved event officially kicks off the festive season in one of Tampa’s most historic districts, with Ybor’s newly bricked streets adding an extra layer of holiday charm to the scene.
The anticipation builds as the big moment approaches, with Mayor Jane Castor leading the crowd in an exciting countdown to light up the Christmas tree. As soon as the tree glows, Ybor City transforms into a winter wonderland, complete with occasional bursts of fake snow to add a magical touch to the evening.
